DESCRIPTION

The NEW EdgeTech 4125-P Side Scan System is a single or dual HIGH frequency sonar system. A 1250 kHz single frequency (4125-S) or 400/1250 kHz dual frequency (4125-D) towfish is combined with a small portable water resistant topside processor that allows the system to be operated from very small boats. Power input is 12-24VDC or 110/220 VAC.

One-person deployable and rugged, the 4125-P sets a standard for high resolution sonar images. Designed with Search and Recovery and Harbor Security in mind, the system can be quickly deployed within minutes and only needs a 12-24 VDC power source. EdgeTech’s DISCOVER software runs on a laptop computer included with the system. Plug in a GPS and you get geo-located side scan images along with a target logger and the ability to make sure you have covered an area with the included “coverage mapper” software module.

The 4125-P sets new standards in the industry for seafloor mapping by integrating key performance and safety features, along with a low price. EdgeTech’s Secondary Recovery System, standard sensors, and superior imaging give the 4125-P a value position at a price which is commercially sensitive.
