DESCRIPTION

The EdgeTech 4125-P is a very high frequency side scan sonar system that produces extremely high resolution imagery which is ideal for search & recovery and small target identification. A choice of either a 400/900 kHz or 400/1250 kHz dual frequency towfish is combined with a small portable water resistant topside processor that allows the system to be operated from very small boats.

One-person deployable and rugged, the 4125-P sets a standard for high resolution sonar images. Designed with Search and Recovery and Harbor Security in mind, the system can be quickly deployed within minutes and only needs a 12-24 VDC power source.

EdgeTech’s DISCOVER software runs on a laptop computer included with the system. Plug in a GPS and you get geo-located side scan images along with a target logger and the ability to make sure you have covered an area with the included “coverage mapper” software module.
